Installing The Classic Rifle Adapter
Use the Allen key provided to remove your sling swivel stud.
Select the bolt with the thread that matches your sling swivel stud.
Select the synthetic plate that best fits the profile of your stock.
Place the adapter onto the synthetic plate, then place the bolt in the adapter and tighten. Hold the adapter to keep it straight.
Attach your sling swivel to the rear of the classic adapter.
Magnetic Attachment
To attach the bipod to the rifle, locate the bipods spigot into the slot on the adapter. The magnet will ease this process and retain the bipod in the adapter. To remove the bipod from the rifle, firmly pull the bipod downwards from the adapter.
Inserting the bipod in the adapter with the lever facing away from you will allow you to pan the rifle 30° left and right meaning you can track moving targets.
Inserting the bipod into the adapter with the locking lever facing towards you will lock the pan movement.
Cant & Locking Lever
Pushing the cant lever towards the left will increase the friction on the spigot so that you can lock the cant angle at the desired position.
If you would like to change the position of the lever to adjust the "lock" position or for fine-tuning. Pull the lever outwards and rotate the lever to the desired position.
Leg Height Adjustment
Wrap the Little finger, Ring finger & Middle finger around the carbon of the lower leg to prevent it rotating.
Grip the collar with the Index finger & thumb and loosen the collar of one leg (left = loosen), Draw down or push up the lower leg until the required height is achieved and retighten.
Changing Bipod Legs
The Javelin Pro Hunt has been designed with modularity in mind and features our threaded leg system, the legs can be unscrewed by rotating them anti-clockwise.
We currently offer alternative lengths of Pro Legs as accessories. These can be simply threaded into the head as a replacement for the existing legs to offer solutions where muzzle clearance is an and issue or where seated, kneeling or standing shots may be required.
Bipod Feet
Each bipod is fitted with a tungsten carbide tip and tethered synthetic boot. Slowly pull off the synthetic boot to expose the tungsten tip.
