The Valhalla bipod is a lightweight tactical bipod that is designed to provide a high degree of stability & support and comes fitted with our quick adjustable Tac Legs as standard.
The bipod chassis is machined from 7075 series aluminium alloy and is finished in a hard anodised finish to resist corrosion.
It features a central fitting point for mounting onto its spigot fitting. The spigot fitting is separately fitted to a rifle that has suitable Picatinny or M-Lok accessory rails.
This design lowers the centre of gravity of the attached rifle helping to increase stability.
The bipod can be canted left and right so the rifle & scope can be levelled on uneven ground. This cant is initially limited by the stop screw to provide 10º left of right and can be locked to the desired level by tightening the tension lever. on the side of the chassis.
The degree of cant can be further increased by removing the limit screw that is fitted into the 'Spigot' fitting.
The Tac Legs are available in either 'Standard' length or 'Long' lengths. They have composite boots over the foot section, which when removed from the foot reveal tungsten carbide tips for use on slippery surfaces.
This 'Spigot' mounting design enables the bipod to be removed from the rifle without tools for transport or carriage or gun boxes or gun slips. (The 'Spigot' mount is designed to remain on the rifle.)
The shoulders of the Valhalla Bipod are specifically threaded to accept the quick adjustable Tac-Legs and also the full range of our Pro-Legs (available as accessories.)
The Pro-Legs are offered in a selection of different lengths to meet specific positional shooting requirements and can be installed in the bipod in field conditions without tools.
The legs can be independently positioned to multiple angles between. 0 degrees & 180 degrees to permit the bipod height to be further adjusted for lower heights or for use around obstacles, obstructions or structures.
Additionally, the bipod has been designed to be directly fitted to our other shooting supports including our Sentinel & Titan tripod systems & our Davros tripod converter head. This enables rapid adjustment of a shooting position from the prone to seated, kneeling or standing. (Depending upon the leg height of the system to be used with.)
