Differences
Legs

Javelin Pro Hunt - Modularity designed, removable, threaded, two-piece legs. External friction lock design helps keep the locking mechanism out of the dirt and allows bipod legs to be adjusted quick and easily. Available in our standard (17.5-23cm/6.8-9") and long size (20.5-30.5cm/8-12") Designed to attach to a range of different legs for different shooting positions and terrains*.
* Compatible with any of Spartan's threaded legs (Lite, Pro Hunt, Pro, Tac Leg, Sentinel).
- Lockout Function
Javelin Pro Hunt - Unique to the Pro Hunt is the leg lock-out feature. Operated by a single button the bipod can be locked with the legs in the open position to negate any possibilities of the bipod folding on uneven terrain
Javelin Lite
The impetus for us to introduce the Javelin-Lite came sometime after our original design. We wanted to produce a more cost-effective bipod, that would be attractive to users that wanted an ultra-lightweight minimalist bipod
We felt that It was important that we retained the high engineering & production standards that we already had achieved with the Javelin Original. This meant that we had to exclude options to use cheaper materials or production methods.
With the design work that we undertook with the newer Javelin Pro-Hunt bipod, we decided to offer the Javelin-Lite with a simple one-piece fixed leg design.
These legs can be threaded directly into the body of the bipod.
This would be suitable for users that often find that they don't need adjustable leg lengths when they shoot.
In return for the Javelin-Lite could be more affordable for us to produce and enable us to pass on these savings to you our customer.
We also felt that it was important to give the customers that invested in the Javelin Lite the opportunity to change or upgrade their leg options at a later stage, if they felt the need, without going to the expense of buying a whole new bipod.
Initially, Javelin Lite owners can choose from the three single section fixed-length legs.
Please see the store page for more details and specifications.
Javelin Pro Hunt
The Javelin Pro Hunt is our flagship model, for the ultimate hunter. The leg lock-out and upgraded external friction lock legs mean no harsh terrain can stand in the way of you and your quarry.
It retains the high quality 7075, aerospace-grade, aluminium of all our bipods encased in a grey hard anodised shell
The Pro Hunt is for hunters and target shooters who still want an ultralight quick attachable carbon fiber bipod, but who won't compromise on stability and functionality.
Please see our store page for more details and specifications.
If at a later point users feel the need to change the functionality of their Pro Hunt or Lite bipods, then they can choose from our wide range of Pro-Leg, Tac Leg, Pro Hunt and Sentinal legs.
These units all consist of a two-piece carbon fibre leg (three-piece in the case of the Sentinal Legs.) that again will thread directly into the body of the bipod and provide the user with a wide range of functionality.
An example would be the ultralight Pro-Legs
- 80cm (At full extension) are good for seated or kneeling shots,
- 160cm (At full extension) which will enable someone around 6'00" / 180cm tall, to shoot from a kneeling or slightly stooped standing shooting stance.
