The Sentinel tripod can be retrofitted into either a Quad four-legged system or a Pent five-legged system.
The additional components are designed to be retrofitted to the existing Sentinel Tripod using:
These are assembled together as either a 'Quad' or 'Pent' legged system depending upon the user requirements.
The Quad leg system lends itself towards situations where more flexibility of movement is required but increased accuracy is demanded for longer range standing & kneeling shots.
The Pent system is better for situations where less movement is required and there is more time to set up, but where even greater accuracy is required for exceptional support for long-range accuracy.
In both cases rifle is mounted onto the system using our patented magnetic attachment system, ensuring quick, reliable & accurate fitting without tools. This attachment removes much of the unwanted play between the rifle and the front support, creating a superbly stable shooting support platform.
If the rear support is not required (such as when using the system for observing with optics), then it can be pushed forward to rest against the head of the tripod.
The ball-joint connection solves many of the issues encountered when attempting to level the rifle & scope in 'real world' situations.
In both configurations, the curved Range Cradle is designed on the ergonomics of the human hand. Its curved design gives a sleek comfortable position against the user's shoulder. The cradle gives 130 meters of pan traversal from a stationary position at 100m distance and 260 meters of pan view at 200 meters and so on.
The entire system is portable & light enough to be carried by one person and still has the capability to be quickly configured as trekking poles, monopod, shooting sticks (bipod) or tripod.
